About Us

We describe our Supper Club as 'semi-pro'. We have both worked in hospitality- Frank in restaurants, Heidi in hotels- but we try not to give it a restaurant 'feel'. The food is homely but with a professional touch. We don't like small individual portions and we try not to show off. No technique for technique's sake but just the food you want to eat.

If we have one great quality it is sourcing. The majority of what we serve is from small producers, often direct from the farm. You may even see us picking up things from Stroud Farmer's Market. We are very lucky to live in an area bulging with so many great ingredients and we don't do too much with them before serving them up.

It is hard not to sound like a terrible cliché so we'll just say that our gameplan is to get you in, show you a great time and kick you out smiling and ebullient.

Next date and menu

For our next supper club on 17th August the theme will be 'East European'.

Buckwheat blinis, sweet-cured herring, horseradish cream

Beetroot Borscht, garlic bread, Polish sausage and cheese

Golonka shin of pork with caraway, onions, lightly pickled vegetables, pierogi

Polish cheesecake, sour cherry soup, ogl mogl (honey foam)

Tea, Coffee and petit fours

All this wonderful food in a gorgeous setting is an absolute steal at ￡25 each or £30 on the day, plus gratuity.
